We raise Nigerian Dwarves for many reasons.  They have outgoing personalities, and supply us with endless entertainment;  they are smaller sized and easily handled by people of any age; and they give wonderful tasting milk that has a higher butterfat content than most full sized goat breeds.  For small families looking to have their own fresh milk supply, this breed of goat can’t be beat.

At Apple Haven Farm, we grow certified organic vegetables, herbs, fruits, and raise Nigerian Dwarf goats!  We are located on Piper Hill in West Stewartstown, New Hampshire, not far from the border with Canada.  Living and growing in the North Country can be challenging, but we have pushed the envelope by using season extension and it works!  Our crops are started from seed in March in our heated greenhouse, and transplanted into our high tunnel and the field as soon as conditions allow.
